TipHub approached Mitiz Technologies with a vision to revolutionize how tipping works in the service and hospitality sector. Traditional cash-based tipping was becoming inconvenient, especially as customers increasingly rely on digital payments. TipHub wanted to create a fully cashless, instant, and transparent tipping platform.

Their requirements included:

  • A frictionless tipping flow using QR codes, NFC, and shareable links.

  • A no-app-needed experience for customers to ensure adoption.

  • Real-time dashboards for service workers to track tips and payouts.

  • An admin/business portal to manage staff, analyze tipping patterns, and process payouts.

  • Ultra-secure payment processing with global scaling support.

  • A simple UI for workers who may not be technically inclined.

The platform had to be intuitive, fast, secure, and capable of handling thousands of daily transactions.

1. Created a Smooth Tipping Experience

We designed the tipping flow so a customer can scan a QR code or tap an NFC card and complete the tip within seconds. No app, no login—just instant tipping. This drastically improves customer adoption and convenience.

2. Built Worker Dashboards With Real-Time Activity

We developed a worker-facing interface where service professionals can:

  • View real-time tip notifications

  • Track daily and monthly earnings

  • Set up payout methods

  • Download reports

The interface is clean, fast, and mobile-friendly.

3. Developed a Powerful Business/Admin Panel

For businesses, we created a management system to:

  • Onboard employees

  • Generate QR codes or NFC cards

  • Review analytics and tip history

  • Manage payouts and payment settlements

  • Track performance metrics

4. Integrated Secure Payment Processing

Using Stripe API, we ensured fast, global, and PCI-compliant payment handling. Automatic payouts and multi-currency support were added to support international users.

We deployed TipHub on a scalable cloud-based backend capable of handling peak loads during events, peak hours, and multi-location hospitality businesses.
